Wayne State-run public radio station WDET-FM (101.9) is looking for a new permanent general manager.

Allen Mazurek, who guided the station through its change from a music-oriented format to news and talk since December 2005 operating with interim titles, is moving to a post overseeing the station’s digital platform operations.

Wayne official Andrea Roumell Dickson said Wednesday Mazurek’s new title was a work in progress but said the station was looking for a new full-time general manager and programming chief and that a national search was being conducted.
